FreePicEdit ("we", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Images: For enhancement, resize, convert, and compress tools — images are processed entirely in your browser and never leave your device. For background removal — images are temporarily transmitted to a third-party AI API and immediately discarded after processing. We do not store or log your images.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous analytics (page views, which tools are used, approximate geographic region) through Google Analytics to improve the Service. This data is not personally identifiable.
Local Storage: We store a randomly generated anonymous username and your reaction preferences in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
Cookies: Google AdSense uses cookies to serve relevant advertisements. You can opt out through Google's ad settings or your browser's cookie settings.
Background Removal APIs: Remove.bg, Clipdrop, Photoroom, and similar services process your images temporarily. Their privacy policies apply to that processing.
Google AdSense: Displays advertisements. Google Privacy Policy.
Cusdis: Powers Q&A comments. Cusdis Privacy Policy.
We do not retain your images. Anonymous analytics data is retained per Google Analytics retention settings (14 months by default). localStorage data remains on your device until you clear it.
You have the right to: access information we hold about you; request deletion; opt out of analytics tracking (use browser Do Not Track or ad blockers); clear your localStorage data at any time through browser settings.
FreePicEdit is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
