What We Offer
FreePicEdit currently provides three core tools:
- Background Remover — Remove the background from any image instantly using AI (MODNet model). Perfect for product photos, profile pictures, and creative projects.
- Image Resizer — Resize any image to custom pixel dimensions with optional aspect ratio lock. No quality loss, no upload needed.
- AI Image Enhancer (4x Upscale) — Upscale low-resolution images up to 4 times their original size using Real-ESRGAN, one of the most advanced open-source super-resolution AI models available.
Privacy First
Unlike most online tools, FreePicEdit processes all images entirely on your device using WebAssembly and WebGPU technology. Your photos are never uploaded to any server. We never see your images, store them, or transmit them anywhere. This is a core principle we will never compromise on.
Technology
FreePicEdit uses cutting-edge open-source AI models running in the browser via ONNX Runtime Web. This means the same AI models that typically require powerful cloud servers can now run directly on your laptop or phone — fast, free, and private.
